Use

The Library & Media Centre is accessible to all interested persons. Lending is, however, limited to students and staff at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. All library users are asked to deposit their bags in the lobby or in the lockers provided.
 

Furnishings

The Library & Media Centre have 14 reading and work places as well as seven AV places for watching DVDs or videos and listening to CDs. Catalogue or Internet research is possible at eight stations. A photocopier is available on the ground floor (5 cent/copy).

Lending service for KHM members

Students and fellows at the Academy of Media Art Cologne, on showing a valid access card to KHM, may take out books and AV media over the weekend (Thursday to Monday).

The Academy teaching staff can take out media at any time. The lending period for all media is four weeks. A renewal is possible by phone, per E-mail or online via the user account at the library catalogue.

Television recordings cannot be taken out for copyright reasons. Video workplaces have been made available for watching these. In general, current issues of journals are excluded from lending.
